Use your Android phone as a mouse for your Windows PC

RPad turns your Android phone or tablet into a wireless trackpad, mouse and keyboard for your Windows PC. Control a media PC from the couch, or a laptop hooked up to a TV, over your own Wi‑Fi.

The whole phone screen becomes a trackpad with acceleration and real gestures, not a small touch box. There's no Bluetooth pairing and no account to create.

Get it on Google Play

How to set it up

  1. On the PC, download RPad for Windows and run the installer. When Windows Defender Firewall asks, allow RPad on private networks. RPad sits in the system tray.
  2. On the phone, install RPad from Google Play (Android 8.0 or later) and open it.
  3. Make sure both are on the same Wi‑Fi network, tap your PC in the list and type the 6-digit code shown in the tray window.

If the PC doesn't appear, tap Connect by IP Address… and enter the address from the tray menu. Avoid guest networks and turn off VPN apps on the phone.

Private and encrypted

Only devices you paired with the code can control the PC, and all traffic is encrypted end to end. RPad collects no data and never goes through a server; it works only on your local network.

Price

Both apps are free for 7 days. After that, RPad Pro for Android is a one-time in-app purchase at your local price (US$5.99 in the US), and RPad for PC is a one-time US$9.99 licence for all your Windows and Linux PCs. No subscriptions.

Have a Linux PC? RPad for Linux (beta) uses the same licence. A Mac? The Mac app is free.

Questions

Can I use my Android phone as a mouse without Bluetooth?

Yes. RPad uses your Wi‑Fi network instead of Bluetooth, so you don't pair the phone with Windows as a device. The phone and PC just need to be on the same network.

Which versions of Windows work?

Windows 10 version 1809 or later and Windows 11, on x64 or ARM.

Does it work on Android tablets?

Yes. RPad runs on Android phones and tablets with Android 8.0 or later, and a larger screen makes a roomier trackpad.

Why does it need a separate Windows licence?

The phone app and RPad for PC are separate products. You try both free for 7 days; the PC licence then works on every Windows and Linux PC you own.
